Go to Settings, scroll to the Danger zone, and choose to delete your account. You will be asked to type your username to confirm.
It cannot be undone. Your profile is removed, and any event you were hosting that has not happened yet is cancelled, so the people who signed up are told.
If you only want a break, making your profile private is reversible and deletion is not.
